Time,
Your greedy talons on me

Pt. II – The War Diaries

A child raised by the sword
Predestined for war and hatred.
Death his mistress and coin
Had no choice, no way out.

Life in me was strong
As I began to die,
Drowning in the blood I shed
My heart was turning dry.

Slaughter just for its sake,
The only thing I conceived.
One sore need: to annihilate.
They forged this soul
That for blood it craved.

War's the only means
When in a heart despaired
Holds its darkest tyranny
This hatred uncontrolled,
Unquenchable.


Pt. III – Swancry

Tell me how to live again
Once evoked the darkest visions?
I see no way
Wriggling out of mortal madness.

We shed our blood
To feed our vainglorious aims.
And through these ruins resounds
Unheeded
Our swancry.
